Miguel has grown into a key member of the King of Texas safety team, building on several years of hands-on experience in our sheet metal operations before moving into a full-time safety role. Now serving as Assistant Safety Director, he leverages his extensive field background to support and strengthen safety practices across all projects.
Since transitioning into safety, Miguel has expanded his professional credentials, earning both the OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 certifications in 2025. These achievements complement his practical expertise and further enhance his ability to develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols company-wide.
Miguel works closely with General Contractors, project managers, and field leadership to maintain safe and compliant job sites. He conducts regular site visits and detailed safety audits, ensuring crews follow required procedures and industry best practices. When safety gaps are identified, he responds immediately—communicating with crews and management to correct issues, reinforce expectations, and prevent recurrence.
